Petropolis has a totally different atmosphere and architecture from Rio. The city was founded by D. Peter II to host the summer imperial palace of the portguese royal family.

Teresopolis has one of the entrances to Serra dos Orgaos National Park, which is divided into 3 zones: Teresopolis, Guapimirim and Petropolis. In this tour, we are going to visit the first 2 ones.

Day 1:

- 8am: pick-up at your place for a 1-hour Private Transfer Rio to Petrópolis.

- 9am: Private Tour to the gardens of Quitandinha Palace, Imperial Museum, St. Peter's Cathedral of Alcantara, stop for Lunch, Crystal Palace, and Santos Dumont House.

- 4pm: Check-in at the hotel in Petrópolis.

- Free evening.

- Overnight.​

Day 2:

- 7am: breakfast.

- 7:30am: check-out.

- 9am: Itaipava Castle.

- 11am: hike up to Cartao Postal viewpoint. This is a mid level hike. 1h hiking up and 50min hiking down.

- 2pm: Lunch.

- 3:30pm: Return: 1:30-hour Private Transfer Teresópolis to Rio.
